It may well be the ones who try to correct the mistakes who, from the point of view of the Wiki-rules, are behaving more aggressively. But what it boils down to is that the group is simply not qualified to contribute constructively to get to good quality articles in a certain topic area of Wikipedia. And that is then the source of the friction.
