The current core development team is comprised of eighteen undergraduate students (nine male and nine female), two undergraduate studenta and three juniour members of Staff. The Project has so far developed over twelve iLabs and working closely with the Electrical Engineering Department these labs have been integrated into the B.Sc.Electrical Engineering and B.Sc.Telecommunications Engineering Programmes to provide experimentation experience to students. His spearheading research in the fields of Academic Records Management, Vehicle Design[2], electronic Academic Scheduling Systems, internet laboratories especially at Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda has made him quite the celebrity within the academia. Sandy holds a technical PhD in Digital Communications (1985) and M.Sc. in Radio Engineering (1979). He is proficient in English, Russian, Lugbara(mother tongue) and Kiswahili.
