The École du Sommet is a French public high school in Halifax, NS. It is part of the CSAP. It opened in 2010 with grades 6 to 11, and now serves grades 6 to 12. It was established to take pupils from the overcrowded school École Beaubassin with a little over 500 pupils and students.[citation needed] It is on Larry Uteck Boulevard. The mascot of this school is the Cougar[1] It was officially opened the 5 December 2010 even though students and pupils started in September.[2]
