The firm was established in 1918.

The Czech-Slovak investment group J&T bought an areal of Zbrojovka Brno in 2007.[1]

The 1933 Zbrojovka Brno Z4 I. serie had a water-cooled two-stroke engine of 905 cc which produced a maximum power of 19 hp. Maximum speed is 80 kilometres per hour.

The 1936 Zbrojovka Brno Z4 V. serie had a water-cooled two-stroke engine of 980 cc with an output of 25 hp. Maximum speed is 100 kilometres per hour.
