Ōji Station (王子駅, Ōji-eki) is a railway station located in Kita, Tokyo, Japan.

Lines

The station is served by:

• Keihin-Tōhoku Line of East Japan Railway (elevated station),
• Namboku Line of Tokyo Metro (underground station) and
• Toden Arakawa Line (ground level station).

Officially the station of the Toden Arakawa Line is called Ōji-ekimae Station (王子駅前停留場, Ōji-ekimae teiryūjō, "the tram stop in front of Ōji Station"). Ōji Eki-mae Station is one of the two tram stations around Oji Station..

History

• 1883-07-28: Station begins operation.
• 1915-04-17: What is now known as Toden Arakawa Line begins operation
• 1991-11-29: Subway service on the Namboku Line is opened.
