Çakkıdı is a hit single released by popular Turkish singer Kenan Doğulu from his 2006 album Festival. The song captured the number one spot in many music lists in Turkey during the summer of 2006 and it received massive airplay.
After this first wave of fame of the song had passed, a remix of the song, which was backed with rap verses, created a second wave in the end of the summer. The remix became an underground hit in a short time.
After the success it enjoyed during the summer, the song seemed to complete its duty to help to the commercial success of the singer's album but the song became even more popular thanks to Avrupa Yakası, a Turkish hit TV series. One of the main characters in the series, Gaffur, loved to dance while listening to Çakkıdı.
