Šmarna Gora (Slovene: Šmarna gora, German: Großkahlenberg[1]) is an inselberg in the north of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

It is located in the northern part of Ljubljana. The mountain has two peaks: Šmarna Gora (669 metres, 2,195 ft) and Grmada (676 metres, 2,218 ft). Because of the location and view it has become a popular hiking destination. In clear conditions it is possible to see Mount Triglav and Mount Stol, and in the southern directions Mount Krim, Mount Snežnik, and Trdina Peak (Slovene: Trdinov vrh). Nearby hills are Golo brdo, Toško Čelo, Rožnik, and Rašica.

The southern side of the mountain has trees such as downy oak and hop hornbeam, and the northern side is covered by a beech forest. The mountain is part of the city's Šmarna Gora District.
