11571 Daens (1993 OR8) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on July 20, 1993 by E. W. Elst at the European Southern Observatory.[1] According to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory database, the asteroid was named after Adolf Daens, a Flemish priest known for his socio-political involvement[1] featured in the film Daens.
