12 Apostles is an independent record label based in London, England and Brooklyn, USA.
Founded in 2000 the label was created as an antidote to the increasingly corporate approach of independent dance music record labels around the world and is inspired by British dance collective The KLF and genre free record labels of the late 1970s such as Small Wonder Records, Mute & Factory Records
12 Apostles Records specialises in 12” vinyl releases that are distributed by Cargo International in the UK. Releases are available via Rough Trade Records (London), Other Music (New York), Halcyon Records (Brooklyn) Red Eye Records (Sydney).
