1595 Tanga (1930 ME) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on June 19, 1930 by C. Jackson and H. E. Wood at Johannesburg.

Photometric observations of this asteroid collected during 2008 show a rotation period of 11.05 ± 0.02 hours with a brightness variation of 0.32 ± 0.04 magnitude.[1]
