The 175th Fighter Squadron flies the F-16C/D Fighting Falcon. It is a unit of the South Dakota Air National Guard. Its parent unit is the 114th Fighter Wing.

- Re-designated 175th Fighter Squadron, and allotted to South Dakota ANG, on 24 May 1946.

- Federalized and placed on active duty, 10 March 1951
