Hibernian were winners of the Scottish Cup after a 1–0 over Division One runners-up Celtic.

Rutherglen Glencairn were winners of the Junior Cup after a 1–0 win over Maryhill in a replayed final.

Scotland were winners of the 1902 British Home Championship, but endured the deaths of 25 supporters at the Ibrox disaster on the 5 April 1902.
