The 1965–66 season of the European Cup football club tournament was won by Real Madrid, winners of the first five European Cups from 1956 to 1960, for the sixth time in a close final against Partizan. Real Madrid eliminated title-holders Internazionale in the semi-finals.

Games Internazionale – Dinamo Bucurest – 2:0
Starting with the RSSSF site and all the other sites, including UEFA, writes that the game was held 15 December.
Club websites team Internazionale, La Gazzetta dello Sport and Dinamo Bucurest write that the game was held 16 December. In reality, the match would have been played on 15 December, but it was played the following day because of the fog.
