The 1968 British Saloon Car Championship, was the 11th season of the series. The Royal Automobile Club Motor Sports Association (RACMSA) took control of the championship this year from the BRSCC.[1] Australian driver Frank Gardner won back to back championships, successfully defending his 1967 title, in 1968 changing from a Ford Falcon to contest the Class C with initially a Cortina until the new Ford Escort was introduced ].[2][3]
