The 1984 Coral UK Championship professional snooker tournament took place at the Guild Hall, Preston from 18 November with TV stages shown on BBC took place between 24 November and 2 December 1984. This was the first UK Championship that all overseas players took part as it also became a ranking tournament. The highest break of the televised stages was 134 made by Steve Davis and the non-televised stages was 135 made by Jack McLaughlin.
