The 1995–96 New Jersey Nets season was the franchise's 20th season in the NBA.[1] During regular season, the Nets traded Derrick Coleman to the Philadelphia 76ers for Shawn Bradley, and sent Kenny Anderson to the Charlotte Hornets for Kendall Gill. The Nets finished sixth in the Atlantic Division with a 30-52 record.
