During the 1995–96 French football season, Paris Saint-Germain competed in French Division 1.

Season summary[edit]

Paris Saint-Germain failed to win the French title, but made up for the title disappointment by winning the Cup Winners' Cup. This made manager Luis Fernández the first Frenchman to win a major European trophy, but the failure to win any domestic silverware led to him leaving the club.
