This was the United States broadcast television schedule on all four commercial television networks on Saturday mornings for the season beginning in the fall of 1996 and ending in the spring of 1997. All times are Eastern and Pacific.
In 1996, a provision of the Children's Television Act took effect that required every full-power television station in the United States to air a minimum three hours of educational/informational children's programming. The networks' Saturday morning lineups began to reflect this.
New series in bold.
