The 1996 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Basketball Tournament took place from March 7-10, 1996 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. Wake Forest won their second consecutive tournament, 75-74 over Georgia Tech. For the second consecutive year, the Demon Deacons got a heroic effort in the final, as Tim Duncan had a 27-point, 22-rebound performance. (Randolph Childress had scored 37 points in the final in 1995.) To this day, this is the last ACC championship that did not include Duke or North Carolina.
