The 2002–03 season was the Grizzlies second season in Memphis and the eighth being a NBA team.[1] Hoping to improve a 23–59 record, the Grizzlies improved by 5. Their first game was up against the Dallas Mavericks on October 30, 2002. The Grizzlies lost 108-119. This would lead to a 13-game losing streak. The Grizzlies got their first win against the Washington Wizards on November 23, 2002. The score was 85-74. Their final game was against the Minnesota Timberwolves on April 16, 2003. The Grizzlies lost 87-95.
