The Senior women's race at the 2004 IAAF World Cross Country Championships was held at the Ossegem Park in Bruxelles, Belgium, on March 20, 2004. Reports of the event were given in the New York Times,[1] and for the IAAF.[2]

According to an unofficial count, 97 athletes from 30 countries participated in the Senior women's race. The announced athlete from  Malawi did not show.[4][5]
