The 2004 Major League Baseball Japan All-Star Series was the ninth edition of the championship in a best-of-eight series format between Major League Baseball (MLB) and Nippon Professional Baseball. MLB won the series 5 to 3[1] and Vernon Wells was named the series MVP.
