The 2011-12 season is Brentford's 3rd consecutive season in League One following their championship winning promotion from League Two in 2008-09. Brentford will be looking to improve on the 11th place that they achieved at the conclusion of the 2010-11 season under the guidance of new manager Uwe Rösler.
