2013–14 Iran Pro League was the thirteenth season of the Iran Pro League and the 8th under the name Persian Gulf Cup. Esteghlal were the defending champions. The season featured 14 teams from the 2012–13 Iran Pro League and two new teams promoted from the 2012–13 Azadegan League: Gostaresh as Group A Champions and Esteghlal Khuzestan as Group B Runner-up who replace relegated Gahar Zagros, Aluminium Hormozgan, Sanat Naft and Paykan. Esteghlal Khuzestan promoted instead of Group B Champions, Shahrdari Tabriz, due to match-fixing scandal. The league was started on 24 July 2013 and ended on 11 April 2014.[1] The fixtures was announced on 9 July 2013. Foolad won the title for the second time in its history.
