The 31st Guards Airborne Separate Order of Kutuzov II Brigade is an airborne infantry brigade of the Russian Airborne Troops, based in Ulyanovsk.

During the Crimean crisis 2014 the brigade was located the Crimean peninsula. [1]

History[edit]

The brigade was created as a result of the reform of the 104th Guards Airborne Division in 1998, received the final name in 2007.

Current status[edit]

Brigade stationed in the city of Ulyanovsk.

On the territory of the paratrooper brigade there's a monument for Hero of the Soviet Union, General Vasily F. Margelov.
