[edit] Lyrics
The song portrays an early-twenties male's despondent view of his remaining sex life: 40 more years of "living" then "death".
Verses end with "No longer to visit the 'Palace of Love'".
Other lyrics alluding to sexuality include:
"Pubescent girls, never again to finger the curls on their head."
"Perfume! The smell of perfume of is forgotten and the shape of her room and the sheets on her bed."
"No more the sudden thrill as you dip into the 'swill'"
The single earned TISM recognition as their earlier single "Defecate On My Face" was very infrequently played on radio, if at all; where this single was quite radio friendly.
