5332 Davidaguilar (provisional designation: 1990 DA) is an Amor-class minor planet. It was discovered by Atsushi Sugie at Dynic Astronomical Observatory on February 16, 1990. It was named for David Aguilar, the director of public affairs for the Harvard–Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. He is also a National Geographic author, space artist and legendary Bay Area rock musician. He has written and illustrated six kid's books for National Geographic and illustrated a seventh. He is now under contract with Random House/Penguin books. His latest book "COSMIC CATASTROPHES" will be published by Smithsonian Books in the Spring of 2015. He is also a Grammy nominated songwriter and singer for legendary the San Francisco garage band, The Chocolate Watchband.
