The 77th (East Middlesex) Regiment of Foot was a line regiment of the British Army . In 1881 it was united with the 57th (West Middlesex) Regiment of Foot to form The Middlesex Regiment .
Sergeant John Park of the 77th was awarded the VC for his actions during the Crimean War.
