9698 Idzerda (2205 T-1) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on March 25, 1971 by C. J. van Houten, I. van Houten-Groeneveld, T. Gehrels at Palomar.

The asteroid is named after Hanso Schotanus à Steringa Idzerda (1885-1944), a Dutch radio pioneer and the first man to make a public broadcast. See also the information at his transmitter callsign PCGG.
