Anthony Joseph Balukoff(born March 3, 1946) is a 2014 Democratic gubernatorial candidate in Idaho. Balukoff, a businessman, retired CPA, and president of the Boise School District Board of Trustees, aims to unseat two-term Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter.
In February 2014, Balukoff called for an independent investigation of Corrections Corporation of America when he learned that Governor Otter had led the public to believe that Idaho State Police were investigating the matter, although no such investigation had occurred.
