Askold Ivanovich Vinogradov

Askold Ivanovich Vinogradov (Russian: Аско́льд Ива́нович Виногра́дов) (1929 - 31 December 2005) (not to be confused with Ivan Matveyevich Vinogradov of Vinogradov's theorem and the Pólya–Vinogradov inequality) was a Russian mathematician working in number theory. A major result he proved was the Bombieri–Vinogradov theorem[1].
