The ARS-2 rocket was a small experimental rocket that was flown in the 1930s. It was a small improvement by the United States on the German Mirak design. It used liquid oxygen and gasoline propellants, and was successfully launched on May 14, 1933. Successive rockets continued to refine the design. The final flight was launched on May 9, 1937.
