AT&T Championship
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The AT&T Championship is a golf tournament on the Champions Tour. It is played annually in October in San Antonio, Texas at the Oak Hills Country Club, and is the final full-field event of the Champions Tour season (the final tournament, the Charles Schwab Cup Championship, limits its field to the season's top 30 money-winners). AT&T is the main sponsor of the tournament.
The purse for the 2011 tournament was US$1,800,000, with $270,000 going to the winner. The tournament was founded in 1985 as the Dominion Seniors.
