[edit] Plot summary
In this episode, Detectives Goren and Bishop investigate the death of a woman, Lena Brody, who is found in the family bathroom with bruises, knife wounds, and signs of strangulation.
At first, Goren and Bishop turn their attention to the victim's husband, but they ultimately determine the wounds were self-inflicted. As the detectives search for reasons for Lena's suicide, they discover that her injuries may be linked to a string of ethnically-motivated killings. The investigation leads Goren and Bishop to delve into the family's tragic history.
