The Aarhus Faculty of Science and Technology is a faculty of Aarhus University. The Aarhus Faculty of Science and Technology became a reality after Aarhus University was divided into four new main academic areas which came into effect on 1 January, 2011. The Aarhus Faculty of Science and Technology. Aarhus Faculty of Science and Technology consists of the former National Environmental Research Institute of Denmark (NERI) and the previously independent faculties The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and the Faculty of Science. The head of this new main area is dean Brian Bech Nielsen.
