Abdul Hafeez Sheikh (Urdu: عبدل حفیظ شيخ) is a very prosperous Pakistani businessman. He owns the Bismillah Group, which heads Bismillah Textiles and BNP (which is currently constructing the Grand Hyatt Islamabad).
Bismillah textiles is a vertical textile mill in Pakistan. It was established in 1989 as a commercial exporter. Its first year annual sale was less than one million dollars; today its annual sale is in excess of one hundred million dollars. Bismillah has several manufacturing units located in different parts of the city of Faisalabad. Faisalabad is the third largest city of Pakistan and is known as the Manchester of Pakistan because of its textile industry.
Grand Hyatt Islamabad
The Grand Hyatt is located at the southern end of the Constitution Avenue currently under construction in Islamabad on a 13.5-acre (55,000 m2) site (6.75 hectares) and is served by two major highways (Sharah-e-Kashmir to the north and Murree Highway to the south).
This development consists of a 45-storey hotel and serviced apartments tower along with two smaller 20-storied residential & office towers. The smaller towers are linked together by means of a bridge at the 20th floor, aligned with the axis of the Constitution Avenue. Other features include retail and food courts, banquet facilities and parking. Construction is under way having built the foundations of the basement and work commencing on the towers.
