AboveTheLaw.com is a legal web site which publishes news, commentary and gossip about the legal industry, with a special emphasis on large commercial law firms (Biglaw). Above the Law publishes salaries and bonuses (according to both official firm memoranda as well as off the record associates) at many of these large firms. The site also regularly publishes content concerning law schools, in-house counsel and small legal practices. In June 2013, Above the Law's traffic surpassed one million unique visitors per month.[1]

Recognition[edit]

Above the Law was recognized in 2008 by the ABA Journal as one of the 100 best Web sites by lawyers, for lawyers.[2]

The Washington Post, in passing, called Above the Law "a must-read legal blog."[3]
