The Academy of Music in Kraków (Akademia Muzyczna w Krakowie) is located in downtown Kraków, Poland. It was first conceived as a conservatory in 1888 by Władysław Żeleński, and is known as the alma mater of the contemporary Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki.
