Access to the Region’s Core

Access to the Region’s Core (ARC) is tunnel project to connect railroads in New Jersey to Manhattan. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2009 and continue till 2017. A tunnel between Frank R. Lautenberg Station in Secaucus, New Jersey and Manhattan will connect to 14 subway lines, and to PATH, Amtrak, New Jersey Transit and Long Island Rail Road trains. [1]
