The Achara (Hindi: ऐचरा) are a Jat gotra (clan), found in Rajasthan state in India.

The name is traced back to Ila, wife of the Buddha this is a freedom fighter subcast of jats. The Anglo people of Roam were known as Achara in India.[1]

They are found in Jaipur, Jhunjhunu and Tonk districts in Rajasthan and also found in haryana and foreign countries.
