Acun Ilıcalı (born 29 May 1969 in Edirne) is a Turkish television personality, producer, actor and sport journalist. He is also the founder and head of Acun Medya.

Acun Ilıcalı was born in May 29, 1969 in Edirne to a family, which originated from Ilıca, Erzurum. He completed his basic education in Edirne. He went to high school in İstanbul at Kadıköy Maarif College and Anatolian High School. He enrolled in ELT department at Gazi University but he dropped out and decided to work on television.

Ilıcalı has been married twice, and has four children. He lost his parents just after his first child Banu was born, and got divorced from his first wife. During the trial of his divorce with his second wife due to his alleged infidelity, his wealth was revealed as around 50 million Turkish Lira which was equivalent to 25 million Euros by the time.[1] Later he reconciled with his wife and the divorce was stopped. He is married to Zeynep Ilıcali since 2003 and they have two daughters named Leyla and Yasemin. In late 2013, he had his fourth child Melisa with his former girlfriend Seyma Subasi.[2] After that point, Seyma Subasi is technically his "second wife" as she points out her relationship with Acun Ilıcalı and their son in public, often using heavy religious references. Even Islam allows men to have two wives at the same time, Turkish marital law doesn't. This law hadn't been enforced strongly in former years, but these types of marriages were usually hidden from the public. Acun Ilıcalı is the first man to have two wives simultaneously without trying to hide this fact from the society. [3]

Acun Ilıcalı started his career in television as a sports reporter, and got promoted due to his success. After a couple of years he started to host his own parts in some different television programs.

Eventually, he founded a production company called Acun Medya in 2004. With this production company, he produced and hosted many television shows such as O Ses Türkiye (Turkish version of The Voice), Yetenek Sizsiniz Türkiye (Turkish version of the Got Talent series), Survivor and Yok Böyle Dans (Turkish version of Dancing with the Stars).

He has also done acting in the comedy series Avrupa Yakası and many cinema films.
