Adam von Buhler is a producer and musician, currently one half of the rock duo Anarchy Club, and a former member of the band Splashdown.[1] He plays drums, bass, guitar and other instruments, and works the studio gear. Although he plays most of the instruments heard on Anarchy Club recordings and is responsible for the guitar solos, he solely plays bass guitar live, when the band adds a drummer and rhythm guitarist.
He has no formal musical training and plays entirely by ear. His name appears as either Adam Buhler or Adam von Buhler from project to project. He is the former husband of the artist Cynthia von Buhler. In the 90's, he was a co-founder of the Boston indie record label and art group, Castle von Buhler.
In late 2010, he introduced a new project, a duo with Scottish singer Alice Ishbel Watson, under the name of Map & Key.
