Adarsh Vidya Mandir (AVM) is one of the largest and oldest educational institutes in Kulgaon-Badlapur region.

Adarsh Vidya Mandir is an old educational institute in Badlapur, founded by the late Mr. Agaskar in 1961. The institute enrolls almost 5000 students and has served as a major educational backbone of the city. Students from this institute have regularly been listed in Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary Certificate examinations' merit list.

More recently the school has expanded from Junior KG to Senior college. Senior College is offering Arts, Commerce and Science, undergraduate (BA, BComm, BSc) education. The college is affiliated with University of Mumbai.
