Adenosine diphosphate (ADP) receptor inhibitor is a type of drug that inhibits some or all types of adenosine diphosphate receptors (P2Y receptors).
Inhibitors of the receptor subtype P2Y12, such as clopidogrel and prasugrel, are one class of anti-platelet drug.[1][2]
