Adidas nitrocharge is a range of football boots developed by German sportswear manufacturers Adidas and it was first released in May 2013 coming under the category of energy. Named the nitrocharge 1.0 the boot maximises energy output through the use of new innovations and technologies including the EnergySling and EnergyPulse and it was first debuted by several players around Europe including Bayern Munich's Javi Martinez and Real Madrid's Xabi Alonso.
History of the nitrocharge models
There has been one generation of nitrocharge model, with the cheaper versions of the range being named the 2.0 for the club and social level players and the 3.0 for entry level players. Above all of them there is the 1.0 for pros and high level players
The first ever nitrocharge 1.0 was first released in May 2013 by Adidas and it was first seen worn by several players from around Europe including in the 2013 Copa del Rey and UEFA Champions League Finals. Adidas spent two years working to identify a new type of footballer named The Engine. The German brand worked with Opta the sports data provdier and they established a player as being your box-to-box footballer who covers every blade of grass, seeks goal scoring chances, tracks down his opponent and displays relentless energy from the first minute to the final whistle. The Engines were first established as mainly central midfielders, defenders and goalkeepers with Barcelona's Dani Alves, AS Roma's Daniele De Rossi, Bayern Munich's Javi Martinez and Paris Saint-Germain's Ezequiel Lavezzi being the headline players for the new energy silo.
The idea behind Energypulse is that it works by acting like a spring for your foot. The nitrocharge 1.0 boasted new technology and innovations as it featured an EnergySling which is an elastic rubber sling across the forefoot which harnesses your energy for enhanced shooting and sprinting as well as providing additional support in high speed movements.
Energypulse increases energy output through the soleplate element on the bottom of the boot and a protective mesh heel for ultimate protection and stability. The high-elasticity Energypulse material provides premium energy output during the toe-off phase to dominate x-(run) and y-(jump) dimensional space.
