Adilson "Bitta" Lima is the founder of Clube de Jiu-Jitsu Pitbull (a.k.a. Pitbull BJJ). He is a 6th degree black belt in BJJ. Pitbull BJJ is a branch off of Gracie Barra. Lima has strong ties to Renzo Gracie Jiu Jitsu. Renzo Gracie was always in his corner for many of his Mixed martial arts(MMA) fights. Lima is a world famous grappler who has won multiple golds in the Brazilian Nationals, Mundials, South American BJJ Championships, South Brazilian Championships, Rio International Open and Pan Americans. His MMA career took off very strong but a car accident almost ripped one of his feet off. His foot was reattached but ended his MMA career. However he continued to compete in BJJ tournaments despite having a mutilated foot. Bitta currently won the 2010 Pan Am BJJ Tournament in Irvine, CA as a super-heavyweight.[1]
