This article is missing information about why this application is no longer a part of Adobe Creative Suite 4 and whether this application is discontinued or not. This concern has been noted on the talk page where it may be discussed whether or not to include such information. (November 2009) |
Adobe Ultra (formally known as Serious Magic Ultra Key) is a vector keying application, distributed as a component of Adobe Creative Suite 3. Ultra utilizes image analysis technology to produce high quality chroma key effects in less than ideal lighting environments. Ultra also includes virtual set technology, which allows the keying of a subject into a virtual 3D environment.
Ultra was acquired with Serious Magic, Inc., which Adobe purchased in 2006. Unlike many of the other applications in the Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Ultra only runs on the Windows operating system.
