From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Adobe Version Cue is a computer program sold by Adobe Systems, only available as a part of the Adobe Creative Suite. Version Cue enables users to track and manipulate file versions and metadata. Users can see previews of older versions via Bridge and can restore or delete versions at any time. Version Cue also supports collaboratively reviewing PDFs among groups of people.
Version Cue can be accessed with Adobe Bridge. The Version Cue Server uses Java to run the synchronization server and JavaServer Faces to create a web-based administration portal. The portal reveals that running an instance of the Version Cue server also launches an embedded instance of the MySQL database server. This does not interfere with any existing MySQL installations.
