The Adventist Robotics League is an operational partner of the FIRST Lego League serving the school and constituents of the Seventh-day Adventist school system and their constituents. The same rules are applied as in the FIRST Lego League. Due to the religious beliefs of the affiliated church the competitions are normally held on a Sunday instead of a Saturday. The local competitions are held in regions of the United States rather than each state. After each regional competition the top teams go on to compete in the Nationals which are held at various Seventh-day Adventist Colleges and Universities around the county. The local regions include the Lake Union (Michigan area), the Southern Union (Southeast United States), the North Pacific Union (Northwest United States), the Northern Union California and the Southern California Union.
