African-Centered College Preparatory Academy or AC Prep is an Afrocentric elementary school, middle school, and high school spread across several campuses in Kansas City, Missouri, United States and administered by the Kansas City, Missouri School District. The PreK-6 grade campus is located at 6410 Swope Parkway. The 7-12 grade campus is located at 3500 East Meyer Boulevard.

School background[edit]

African-Centered College Preparatory Academy is located on the previous Southeast K-8 Zoo Academy and Southeast High School campus, as of the 2007-2008 school year. The PreK-5 grade building is known as the "Lower Campus", and the 7-12 grade building is known as the "Upper Campus". The campus is named for Dr. John Henrik Clarke, the noted scholar and historian who was instrumental in making "African Centered Education" a reality. It was previously known as the Annex.
